Cuttyhunk Plein Air Festival (CPAF)

Cuttyhunk Plein Air is an annual one-day festival that takes place on Cuttyhunk, the last of the Elizabeth Islands in the town of Gosnold, MA. Artists travel from New Bedford to Cuttyhunk in the morning and paint at various locations around the island. Wrapping up around 2:30pm, artists submit paintings for jurying and enjoy a brief “_ARTY!” reception at Scuttlebutt Grille after jurors have had a chance to select paintings for purchase prizes. The “_ARTY!” is open to all and free to attend. Islanders and visitors may also purchase art directly from the artists.
